Data Ownership & SLA
Your data belongs to you. We provide the tools to manage it securely, but you always retain complete ownership and control.
1. You Own Your Data
The ITI College is the sole and exclusive owner of all student data, financial records, documents, and attendance logs uploaded to the ITIERP system. We (Dhiraj Sharma Web Solutions / ITIERP) act strictly as a Data Processor providing a service. We do not sell, rent, or use your student data for any marketing purposes whatsoever.
2. Easy Data Export
We hate vendor lock-in. As the Principal or Super Admin, you can export your entire college database at any time in 1-click. Our built-in export tool provides your Students list, Fee ledgers, and Attendance records in accessible formats like CSV and Excel.
3. Data Deletion Policy
If you ever decide to terminate your subscription with ITIERP, you can request full deletion of your tenant space. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data, after which all your records, databases, and uploaded documents will be permanently and irreversibly wiped from our AWS servers to ensure your privacy.
4. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Since our software handles sensitive documents (like Aadhaar, marksheets, and caste certificates), we ensure legal compliance. Upon successful subscription, a formal Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) are signed between ITIERP and the ITI College management. This legally binds us to strict data protection standards and restricts any unauthorized processing of your files hosted on our AWS Mumbai servers.
5. Liability Limitation
The College is solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data entered into the system (e.g., student documents, Aadhaar details). While we maintain daily backups, we shall not be held legally liable for data loss caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, server provider (AWS) outages, or unauthorized access resulting from compromised college administrator passwords.
